Radio Frequency Skin Tightening
RF Skin Tightening can tighten, lift, firm and reduce fine lines and wrinkles!
Ever wondered how those celeb's keep their youthful looks without going under the knife? Let us introduce Radio Frequency! The secret to smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, treating cellulite, tones and tightens skin after just one treatment.
There's no surprise that this treatment has become a firm celebrity fave. Most of our clients love this treatment, as it is quick and you can see an instant result, which continues to improve over time. Leaving you looking younger, refreshed and glowing. A course of Radio Frequency (RF) treatments can be applied to the face or body and will help to lift, firm and tighten skin.
This magic technology stimulates the skin’s own ability to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, so you will see improved results up to three months after your treatment course and these can last up to two years!
The laying down of fresh, new collagen fibres results in skin remodelling, taking place over 3 months and lasting up to three years. For maximum results we suggest a course of six RF treatments and “top up” single treatments every 6-9 months can prolong this effect.
For facial treatments we use a Tri-polar RF device and a Quad-polar for the neck area, these devices combine the effects of both mono and bi-polar radio frequency in a single treatment. This is most affective as it treats the upper and lower layers of the skin in one treatment.
On the body we use a Five-polar device, where the head is slightly larger.
This technology works by heating up the skin, the dermis in particular, to approximately 42 degrees, using a treatment applicator emitting RF waves. This targets the area immediately beneath the treatment head to a consistent depth of up to 8 mm. This creates the following:
1. Existing collagen tissues shrink, providing an immediate tightening and plumping effect.
2. Old, fibrous collagen is broken down and absorbed by the body.
3. Fibroblasts (the cells that create new collagen) are stimulated to create new, fresh collagen.
